    Abstract

    The aim of this research were to determine of the best emmersion duration to accelerate growth of kissing gouramy. The research was conducted on juli until august 2014 in Fish Breeding unit Batanghari Sembilan Indralaya, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CDR), with 4 treatment 0, 12, 24, 36 hour of immersion, with 4 replications. The parameters observed were length (mm), weight (mg), survival rate (%) and water quality. The results of this research shown the highest growth of kissing gouramy larvae with immersion duration is 24 hours with the average value of 23,93 mm of length and increase in weight of 265,31 mg. The best survival rate is 24 hour duration of immersion with average value 64,29%. The average value of water quality 25,5-30,1oC for temperatur, 6,5-7,0 for pH, 4,45-4,97 mg.L-1 for dissolved oxygen and 0,05-0,08 mg.L-1 for ammonia.
