    Abstract

    The objectivies of this research were to (1) describe duku marketing channels from Muara Telang Village Teluk Gelam District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, (2) identify marketing functions which were done on duku marketing from producers to consumers by each marketing institution, (3) calculate marketing efficiency rate based on marketing margin, marketing advantege that obtained by marketing institution farmer’s share and trade’s share. The result of this research showed that there are two channels of duku marketing from Muara Telang to Jakarta, the first marketing channel consists of farmers, collecting traders, wholesalers, and retail trade. The second marketing channel consists of farmers, wholesalers, retail traders. Both of marketing channel did exchange functions, physic function, and facilities function. The most efficient of first marketing is on wholesaler 0.25%, collecting trade 37,78%, retail trade on Cikampek, Cibinong, Bekasi and Kramatjati is trade 0,24%, collecting trade 46,31% retail trade in Cikampek, Cibinong, Bekasi and Kramatjati is 18,07%, 17,83%, 17,38%, and 12,37%
