    Abstract

    The objectivies of this research are 1) to calculate the income of ”Berkat” 2) to calculate the cost price, the break even point, and the value added of raw materials of kemplangs produced by ”Berkat” 3) to analyze the marketing strategies og ”Berkat”. The analyses show that the ”Berkat” received Rp 979.535,88 per mont income. The coct price of each sardines and kakap kemplangs are Rp 8.116,58 per kg and Rp 10.380,85 per kg. There will be break even point when the selling amount of sardines and kakap kemplang each are 573,70 kgs or Rp 4.876.479,88 and 42,50 kgs or Rp 637.448,35 per month.The additional value gained by tapioca and sardines from the processing of sardines kemplang is Rp 583,60 per kg. The marketing strategies applied by ”Berkat” are simple. It produces two variants of kemplang which are sardines and kakap kemplangs, each has different quality and price. The selling price is formed by itself because the market form of this product is perfect competitive market. The distribution or selling done by ”Berkat” at its store at Seberang Ulu II Subdistrict and retailer at several areas such as, Tanjung Raja Subdstrict, Kayu Agung cuty, Prabumulih city and Pangkalan Balai Subdstrict. There are two marketing channels of Berkat Kemplang Businnes product which are producer-retailer-consumer and producer-consumer. The promotion done by displaying the produtcs at the owner’s store and set up a name plate of ”Berkat” above the store door and at the rdge of the street in front of the store.
