    Abstract

    To improve the efficiency of using electricity, electrolyte used in hard chromium plating is improved continuously. Process galvanic chromium plating is begun at 1854 when Busen found chrome chlor solution heated as substance to make chromium plating. At the years 1905-1935 in Germany and United States is conducted the important research of chromium plating methods resulting patent DRP. 448526 from E.Liebrich and Am.P. 1581188 from C.G. Fink. Both of them found out, that existing of foreign acids in chromate acids must be in certain portion. Since this moment, the methods has had significant role, especially in protection from corrosions, wear and for decoration. By mean of optimalization of the electrolyte solutions components and parameter of this method, chromium-plating process in special cases can be adjusted precision. But by searching of the optimal condition, difficulties occur in obtaining textbooks explaining this theme. In view of this situation, it is important to conduct research in this process, so that it can be resulted more precision information in this chromium plating. As the result can be concluded, that electrolyte with catalyst concentration 60 ml/l, I=40 A/dm2 and I=60 A/dm2 at temperature 50 oC show the optimal condition for chromium plating.
