    Abstract

    Survival analysis is one of the topics in the field of mathematics which deals with statistical analysis of the time until the occurrence of one or more a particular event. The purposes of this study are to obtain the survival model and to estimate the parameters of the type I censored data which log-logistic distributed. Maximum likelihood estimate was used to estimate the unknown parameters. Based on the results and discussion, if the exact values of the parameters γ and β are analytically difficult to obtain, then the numerical approach by the Newton-Rhapson iteration can be used to approach the values of both parameters.
