    Abstract

    In this article we present a model for studying the effect of tire sizes and shapes of small semiconductor quantum dots on theelecfron and hole enetgy states. We solve the three-dimentional Schrodinger equation for semiconductor quantum dots with cylindrical and conical shapes. Electron and hole energy states decreased ifQD volume increased. Electron and hole energy states of the cylindrical QD is higher and sensitively on the volume shift than conical QD. Whereas, probability of density of state of electron in the cylindrical QD is higher (0,4%) than conical QD. Key words: Quanturn Dot, Numerical model, semiconductor
