    Abstract

    In Indonesia, the subject Civics is a compulsory subject to take for all students from elementary to higher education. Since 1957, Civics curriculum has been changed for seven times, but its implementation is still not fully based on the demands of the curriculum. The research results, showed that many teachers only taught knowledge and not provide enough opportunities for students to do active learning. Therefore the author offered somes alternatives of active learning: based PKn learning model : VCT, Reflective Inquiry, PKKBI, Inquiry Social.
