      Effect of potassium fertilizer against Corynespora leaf fall disease at rubber nurseries. This research was conducted at laboratory fitopatologi and green house of Pest and Disease Department, Agriculture Faculty of Sriwijaya University in Inderalaya, started from September until November 2005. The research was carried using Completely Randomized Design with six treatment and five replication. The treatment consist of A (control), B (1 g potassium fertilizer each plant), C (1.5 g potassium fertilizer each plant), D (2 g potassium fertilizer each plant), E (2.5 g potassium fertilizer each plant) and F (3 g potassium fertilizer each plant). The result showed that potassium fertilizer did not give affected incubation period and leaf spot area, but high- significantly affected disease intensity. The average of the longest time of incubation period was showed by treatment with potassium fertilizer 3 g each plant by 17,65 days and the shortest time was control only 12,17 days. The potassium fertilizer of 3 g each plant treatment show the disease intensity was 28,24% but at control treatment was 53,89%. The leaf spot area ranged from 1,11 cm2 to 1,69 cm2 but control treatment was 1.96 cm2. The treatment potassium fertilizer 3 g each lant was the best to suppress leaf fall disease caused by Corynespora cassiicola.
